I drew this as a thank you for 20000 hits. In accordance with the results of the survey, I drew the four outer senshi, but…it’s pretty much what I expected, but I’m a little worried about some parts, so I was scared to upload it. (；＾▽＾A｀｀
I decided I would definitely do them smaller in the foreground. I’m satisfied that I was able to do it, and coloring it was fun, with the dark and the shadows…
But, I think it’s a satisfactory picture. >< I hope you like it. vv It’s posted smaller than the actual size.
Okay, it is seriously not cool how many people in this tag post art without a source. POST THE SOURCE. USE GOOGLE REVERSE IMAGE SEARCH. IF YOU CANNOT FIND THE SOURCE, YOU DO NOT POST, AND YOU DO NOT REBLOG. If you don’t post a source, it is theft, plain and simple.
That artist worked their ass off on a picture and you’re not even going to give them credit and get THEIR page more views even though they did all the hard work? Be better than that, Sailor Moon fans.

I noticed on one of my many rereads that in the first chapter, when Naru and Umino and the other classmates are talking about Sailor V and the weird things happening in Tokyo, someone says, “It really is the end of the century.” The whole story is an end-of-the-century/Y2K fable. If that doesn’t blow your mind I don’t know what will.
Hey guys, technically I started this blog to translate captions on Sailor Moon fanart, but the big news from Japan that there’s going to be a NEW Sailor Moon anime starting next summer (tears spring to this old gal’s eyes at the mere prospect), so I’ve decided that my job as a Sailor Moon fan and translator is to bring you the latest news from Japan for your hungry little brains. Here’s one article already, I’ll be doing more as more information comes out.
No one I’ve seen writing in English has yet mentioned that Osa-P was at the event, too, which to me lends WAY more legitimacy to the new project. So exciting. Stay posted, everyone!
New Anime “Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon” starts in 2013, Momokuro will Sing Theme Song
The “Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon” 20th anniversary event took place on July 6th at Nicofarre in Tokyo’s Roppongi district. The event featured the voices of main character Tsukino Usagi (Mitsuishi Kotono) and Chiba Mamoru (Furuhata Tooru). At France’s Japan Expo, the band Momoiro Clover Z performed a live and extravagant show via internet relay.
There was some big news announced at this anniversary event. In the summer of 2013, a new “Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon” anime will be produced. If it airs during the summer, it will have been 16 years since the series ended. Due to the series’s deep cultural significance in Japan and hit status around the world, this is sure to be big news.
The announcement came from Momoiro Clover Z in Paris. This is because the group will be performing the theme song to the new anime. This was the first time that Momoiro Clover Z appeared dressed as Sailor Senshi and that information about the new anime and theme song was released. Everyone was surprised but happy as the group performed “Moonlight Densetsu,” the series’s theme, live from Paris.
Mitsuishi Kotono remarked, surprised, “I was wondering why there wasn’t much excitement about the 20th anniversary of the show, and then this happened!”
Furuhata Tooru said, “It’s been 20 years, so this is really moving, to me. I’d like to be involved in the new anime.”
However, at this time there isn’t much information about the new series. The series editor for Takeuchi Naoko, Osano Fumio, was also present on stage, but only remarked, “Everything is starting from this moment,” as the series has just gone into production, and he can’t say much yet.
There was also no mention of any movies, what the series would look like, or the length. However, there is no doubt that there will be a new series.
It was said that there are many other plans detailed for the 20th anniversary project. The new anime is definitely one of them.
